Pintamono is an app for drawing and turning your drawing into music. This policy explains what information the app uses and what it does with it. In short: Pintamono does not collect, send or share your data. Everything stays on your device.

What information the app uses

  • Microphone. If you use the record button, the app accesses the microphone to record your audio. It is only active when you tap record and after asking your permission. You can withdraw permission in Settings › Pintamono.
  • Your drawings. Drawings you save are stored as files in the app’s folder on your device.
  • Your recordings and exports. Voice recordings and mixes are saved on your device. Audio, video or MIDI files you export are created temporarily so you can share them.

In-app purchases

Pintamono Pro is an optional one-time purchase. Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store: Pintamono does not receive or store your card or payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether your account has Pintamono Pro.

What we do not do

  • We do not send your recordings, drawings or any other data to our servers or to third parties: the app does not connect to the internet to work.
  • We do not create accounts or ask for personal information.
  • We do not use analytics, advertising, trackers or third-party libraries that collect data.
  • We do not sell or share information with anyone.

When something leaves your device

Only when you decide: if you use the share button to send an audio, video or MIDI file, that file goes to the app or service you choose (for example, Messages or Files). From then on, how that file is handled depends on that app or service.

Where your files are and how to delete them

Drawings and recordings are in the Pintamono folder on your device, visible from the Files app. You can delete them from the app itself (swipe in the lists) or from Files. If you uninstall Pintamono, its files are removed too.

This website

This site does not use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising, and does not load third-party resources.

Children

Because the app does not collect data from anyone, it does not collect data from children either.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes how it handles information in the future (for example, by adding online services), we will update this page and the date above before releasing the change.
